Favorite quote or saying: “Sorrow looks down, worry looks around, but faith looks up!”. This is one of those quotes that I remember holding tightly to over 28 years ago when I was preparing to have a bone marrow transplant. It was a very challenging time in my life; one of the toughest times in my life. Yet, it was also one of the best times of my life. I was faced with a life or death situation which put a lot on my mind at the time. I was worried about my finances, my health, and how things would turn out. But, most of all, I was worried about how my family would survive without me. I happened to see this quote posted on a small business sign on my way home after a long day of tests and treatments. It gave me such peace and comfort. I have never forgotten this quote since.
